[Flowey could very well be talking on his radio show about puzzles or something. Or he could be minding his puzzle shop. Or stalking people. But one thing;s for sure: He'll always have his journal in his inventory.

If need be, you can quickly write a message to him. Or draw pictures. Or something.]

Character: Flowey the Flower
Canon: Post-pacifist, AkudaMAX CRAU.
Age: Over 10000, according to his billboard

Background Information: Wiki link. In addition, he's come with some new experience from his time in a murdergame. He made it to survival pool and managed to gain some perspective on his inability to feel and SOULlessness, him deciding he no longer needs a SOUL as he'll make his own form of emotions. In addition, he's grown more willing to interact with humans instead of self-isolating over fear that he can't control himself.

Personality:

* Flowey is soulless and unfeeling. He's utterly incapable of feeling love or compassion or regret or pride or mercy or pity. Despite all that's happened and Frisk saving his soul when he had one, he cannot experience emotions to a point and will likely use logic in all of his decisions. He's very savvy at what he can and cannot do and will act accordingly to whatever circumstances throw at him.

* Despite being emotionless, he is extremely, EXTREMELY determined to do what he wants to do. He'll actually be stubborn enough to continue with what he's doing unless someone logically points out why he should stop. However, this does not mean he can't stop on his own if he thinks it isn't logical to do so.

* Flowey is very keen on calling people out on their actions, whether it be a simple mistake that lead to a horrible tragedy, someone continuously being merciless and genocidal, or even having a flawed morality where the person decides what's wrong or right in a hypocritical way. He might even have the guts to call out people that just say and watched if something bad happened and the person had the opportunity to stop it... or even if they couldn't but found the horrible thing entertaining.

* After Frisk saved him, he's decided to try and factor emotion-based responses and will guess on how to react based on his former self of Asriel. He'd try and act timid and be kindhearted and loving while also being a little bit of a jokester. Even though he is unable to feel anything, he'll pretend. It's the best he's got. Despite this, he can easily revert to sadism and cruelty if he forgets to keep an eye on himself.

* His time in Kansai has changed his perspective for the better. He made it the entire time he was there without attacking or hurting anyone. A new friend he made there went as far as to say he was possibly the only Zendama, good person, out of all the Xeno-Class criminals classified as Akudama, or bad people. He's also grown to view a part of him as "his inner Chara", where it's player one, him, versus player two, Chara, and will almost always attempt to do the right thing. However, he can still very easily cross lines if he's not careful.

Abilities & Inventory:

* He'll bring along a smart phone along with a Hemo-Beam Flashlight, a flashlight that reveals where blood has been if it's been cleaned up.
* Even though Flowey has a physical body, he can still use magic, though his main use is small, dodgeable magic bullets.
* He has access to an inventory. It functions exactly like a video game inventory, but only has eight slots, one slot per item.
* When he wants to battle, he can "call out" the soul into a sort of video game/RPG/damnaku style battle, complete with people taking turns. Any souls "called out" will not be absorbable, as the soul is still bound to their owners' bodies.
* As with any monster, he has the ability to CHECK the stats of other people, showing him their HP (health), AT (attack), DF (defense), along with a short, blurb-ish description.
* He has the power to manipulate vines. He can hold objects with them, block off passageways, and use them as weapons.
* He is really good at both facial and vocal mimicry, able to shapeshift his face and change his voice with ease.
* He has the power to burrow into the ground, whether the surface be dirt, rocks, ceramics, or metals.
* He has the power to LOAD and SAVE by use of determination, essentially like a player playing a video game. However, if someone else has more determination than him, he cannot do this. THIS CAN BE NERFED COMPLETELY
* Being a vessel for souls, he has the power to absorb them. With each soul absorbed up to a maximum of the equivalent of seven human souls. (Monster SOULs are considerably weaker than human SOULs.) THIS CAN BE NERFED COMPLETELY
* Flowey is functionally immortal. His essence was modified by "Usurper" in an attempt to prepare Flowey for his body to be stolen. He can still die, but can regenerate completely from death. If enough power or sufficient technology is applied, this regeneration can be halted as long as it is actively suppressing it. THIS CAN BE NERFED COMPLETELY

Suitability & Plans: I've already played Flowey in a number of different games already, however, this will be the first time he's a CRAU. Flowey would likely fit as he craves new information and experiences. With so many new people having so many different experiences, this craving of his can constantly be fulfilled. Even if it isn't, he already has a lot of experience in different things he may be able to assist others on.

His biggest main goal as of new is to form his own version of emotions and empathy and compassion. He's grown so accustomed to not having emotions and compassion for so long that it may take him a while. He's got all the time in the worlf, though, and so many new people to assist him in this endeavor.

Furthermore, Flowey's a bit of a prankster. He enjoys amusement and messing with people and a new place with new people is ripe for a little trolling here and there, though he';; do his absolute best to try and not take it too far.

In Undertale, there's this bit of lore which colors SOULs according to specific traits.

The SOULs come out either in battle or after death. You may choose to option to have Flowey be able to see the color of your SOUL.

Or if your character lacks a SOUL, you may say that.

* Headcanon: He has lost count of exactly how much he's "reset", but he knows for sure he's mentally thousands of years old.

He still secretly wants a soul and will do a lot of things he won't be proud of if he manages to get them. He will sometimes shows hints of jealousy and anger whenever he sees someone acting happy or feel guilt-ridden or other strong displays of emotion. However, despite him being unfeeling, he also has a very strong sense of self-preservation and WILL do anything he can think of in order to stay alive, even if others consider it unforgivable.

Criminal Status: Even though they've all been undone, Flowey can be considered guilty of at least arson, mass murder, property damage, child abuse, kidnapping, stalking, regicide, and assault. Headcannoned crimes are things like treason, torture, theft, possibly genocide, and possibly more. He's said it himself: "I've read every book, I've burned every book". What else are you supposed to do when you've done everything else?

Akudama Title: The Vessel

Physiology: Flowey is neither monster nor human. He has a physical body, one of a flower. More specifically, a buttercup, or golden flower, depending on who you ask. His petals are poisonous. He's also "magically" animate, meaning he can move around on his own. He can also shapeshift his face, changing it to look like someone else, for example.

Powers/Abilities:
* Even though Flowey has a physical body, he can still use magic, though his main use is small, dodgeable magic bullets.

* He has the power to LOAD and SAVE by use of determination, essentially like a player playing a video game. However, if someone else has more determination than him, he cannot do this. THIS WILL BE NERFED SO HE CANNOT SAVE AND LOAD.
* Being a vessel for souls, he has the power to absorb them. With each soul absorbed up to a maximum of the equivalent of seven human souls. (Monster SOULs are considerably weaker than human SOULs.) THIS WILL BE NERFED SO THERE IS NO POWER INCREASE, AND ALSO LIMITING THE TIMEFRAME HE CAN ABSORB A SOUL DOWN TO IMMEDIATELY AFTER DEATH. FURTHER NERFS BY MODS TO THIS ABILITY IS ALSO ACCEPTABLE.

Items/Companions: None

Murder Motives: The most appealing motive would be the ability to regain Asriel's (his) long-lost monster SOUL so he would be able to feel emotions and compassion again. However, he can also be tempted by curiosity or annoyance.
Killer/Victim Consideration: Flowey can definitely be the killer, but I'm also willing to have him be the victim if he truly isn't faking his death.

First Case Consideration/Prize: No, please. I want Flowey to last longer than a week.

Gift Consideration: N/A

Flowey has the ability to absorb souls. He can also unabsorb the souls he has in him so people can be themselves. Generally, people don't remember a thing of when they got absorbed at all. He also gets a power boost with each soul he absorbs. Some examples with in-game spoilers are shown here and here.

With that being said, it's up to you if you want to allow Flowey to absorb your character's souls. If possible, you can also state and end date if you feel more comfortable that way.

Also keep in mind that Flowey is adverse to absorbing souls, so we might have to plot something out in order to convince him if you choose to allow.

Flowey is very keen on calling people out on their actions, whether it be a simple mistake that lead to a horrible tragedy, someone continuously being merciless and genocidal, or even having a flawed morality where the person decides what's wrong or right in a hypocritical way. He might even have the guts to call out people that just say and watched if something bad happened and the person had the opportunity to stop it... or even if they couldn't but found the horrible thing entertaining.

However, despite him being unfeeling, he also has a very strong sense of self-preservation and WILL do anything he can think of in order to stay alive, even if others consider it unforgivable.

Powers/Abilities:

-- Underground Travel: Flowey's main mode of transportation. He can appear and disappear into the ground and pop back up somewhere else, allowing him to get from place to place.

-- Vine Manipulation: This is rarely seen, but he can manipulate vines to act as limbs/hands. This is seen with him holding a button down in Genocide Run and (albeit unclear if powered by SOULS) True Pacifist Run when he captures everyone while they're next to the barrier room.

-- Magic Bullets: He's able to summon little white pellets that can function as magic bullets. It's unknown how many he can create at a time, so we'll just limit it at 15 at a time.

-- Soul Vessel: Flowey has no SOUL and was an experiment created by Alphys to try and crack the barrier open. He can freely absorb SOULS provided he can get his petals on them. However, it's most likely that this may have to be nerfed in some way or taken away completely. Flowey might not care, as he doesn't feel the need to absorb other peoples' souls anymore.

-- Determination: Flowey was injected with determination as part of the experiment Alphys did, and thus has access to the power to SAVE. This will have to be nerfed along the same lines as Chara and Frisk, with him being rewound in time, not the world, and it generally acting as a healing power. He'll still die if he doesn't manage to SAVE. One other thing I should note is that if someone else's Determination is higher than his, he cannot have access to this power.

-- Reset: Related to the above. His Determination allows him to reset to his original starting point. Again, if someone else's Determination is higher than his, he cannot have access to this power. As with Chara and Frisk, this shall be nerfed to be taken away completely.

AU/PG/CANON/OC: Undertale (Canon)

Summary:

  • Monsters and humans lived on the surface peacefully until a war happened between them.
  • The humans forced the monsters into the underworld and placed a seal to keep the monsters there.

  • Humans and monsters have souls that differ. A human's soul can linger on after death whereas a monster's extinguishes quickly.

  • When a monster dies, they turn to ash. Their ash is rubbed on something to put their soul in said object.

  • A human or monster with enough determination can create points in the world where they can go back to at any time, called "savepoints".

  • A monster scientist named Alphys started experimenting with determination on monsters to try and resurrect them.

  • The King of monsters, Asgore, had been slowly gathering human souls to try and break the seal so they can retake the surface world and exterminate mankind.

  • Asriel's soul and a flower with gold petals was used in one of Alphys's experiments, turning Asriel into Flowey.

  • Flowey eventually found out about his ability to go back to his savepoint of when he first became Flowey.

  • A human, who was a sort of reincarnation of a friend Flowey had in the past(who had died), fell into the underworld

  • Flowey tried once to eradicate mankind by stealing the six human souls and going on to kill the human, but failed.

  • The human reloaded one of their save points and the end result of that was that their friends and a bunch of other monsters of the underworld unto one place.

  • Flowey absorbed every single one of their souls plus the six human souls in an attempt to turn back into Asriel and create a time loop where nobody but him and his human friend existed.

  • The human eventually convinced Asriel to break the seal, release everyone's souls back into themselves, and turn back into Flowey.

  • After the seal was broken, everyone but Flowey left for the surface world where all the humans and monsters coexisted peacefully once again.

History:

Asriel Dreemurr was the child of two monsters named Toriel and Asgore. Sometime in his life, a human named Chara fell into the underworld and they became friends. However, as months passed, Chara became ill and tried manipulating Asriel for his own ends. When Chara died, Asriel absorbed Chara's soul and tried to bury the human on the surface world. The humans saw him and attacked him, thinking he was the one that killed Chara. Asriel managed to escape, but not before getting some fatal wounds. He sadly succumbed to them after escaping back to the Underworld and turned into ash, both Asriel's and Chara's souls fading.

Alphys did her experiments, injecting the combination of determination and Asriel's ashes into a flower that had sprouted in his parents' garden. It was only after Alphys thought his experiments were a failure that Asriel came back to life as a flower. However, it was too late and Asriel's feelings and souls had long since disappeared. He called out to his father, but it took months for Asgore to find his son. They reunited, his father nicknaming his son "Flowey". This didn't last too long, as Flowey found out he was incapable of love or compassion.

He ran away from his father and eventually found Toriel, his mother. He tried staying with her in order to see if he could feel his love and compassion or any other feeling come back to him. Sadly, his mother didn't affect him in any way at all. He was in so much despair over losing his friend, his love, and his soul that he attempted to kill himself. He succeeded, but became afraid what would happen to himself after dying, as he didn't have a soul. Determined to live on, he found himself waking up when he first did at his father's garden.

This is where he decided to experiment with his newfound powers. He killed himself and returned back to his "save point" every single time he died. He eventually decided to dedicate his time to helping everyone. He did. Over and over. That turned boring with him, so he eventually started growing more and more malevolent. He annoyed people which turned into hurting people which turned into torturing people which turned into killing people. Over and over, he looped and did everything his creativity allowed him to do. Eventually, he started to grow bored of everything.

This is where Frisk fell into the underworld. Flowey thought Frisk was Chara, as they looked so much alike. It was as if Frisk was Chara reincarnated. However, Flowey attempted to trick Frisk and kill him to take his soul. Toriel saved Frisk and Flowey tried loading a savestate only to find out that he couldn't. Through careful manipulation, he followed Frisk to the end of his journey. Frisk weakened Asgore to the point where Flowey could land the killing blow and absorb the six human souls Asgore had. Flowey then tried fighting Frisk in order to gain the seventh and become a god to exterminate mankind. He failed, Frisk calling out to the human souls to help him, and eventually defeated Flowey.

Frisk spared Flowey, even after he taunted that he'd kill Frisk's loved ones and friends. Not understanding the compassion and mercy Frisk had, Flowey ran away to regroup and replan. Flowey reached out to Frisk to tell him to go back to a previous savepoint and that Alphys might need a friend and want to hang out. He then went to Papyrus, one of Frisk's friend, and told him to gather everyone he can to stop the fight between Asgore and the human. His plan worked flawlessly, and everyone was gathered into the same room, friends, family, and other citizens of the underworld. While they were distracted, Flowey took the six souls and absorbed all the monster souls in the room. This allowed him to have the equivalent of seven human souls and one monster soul and allowed him to regain his form as Asriel Dreemur.

Frisk and Asriel fought, Asriel slowly revealing his true motive was to make it so that the two would never be separated ever again. Unleashing his full power, he trapped Frisk and made him unable to move at all. Running out of options, Frisk called to all his friends, saving their souls... Including Asriel's. He repeatedly called out to Asriel's soul, full intent on saving him. This eventually broke Asriel down enough for him to stop fighting and realize his and everyone elses' compassion and care for each other. With his final momentd as Asriel, he broke the seal, returned back to where Frisk first fell, and returned everyone's souls. Everyone decided to go live in the surface world except for Flowey. He thought it was too dangerous for him to go as he thinks he has a chance at hurting others.

Flowey is soulless and unfeeling. He's utterly incapable of feeling love or compassion or regret or pride or mercy or pity. Gem Considerations: Epidote (1,2,3,4)

The epidote will be placed at the back of his "head", where the stem and receptacle connect. He'll have to learn to have to trust others to watch his back. Literally.

Epidote is the increasing stone, said to have the power to increase what the person touches. This can be both a good and bad thing. If you experience joy, more joy will be bought into your life, and if you experience spite, you will become more and more spiteful. This will be a struggle for Flowey. He actually IS in danger of reverting back to his "kill or be killed" mentality, so he will have to chose his goals and perceived outside emotions he shows carefully. If he's good, he will become good. If he's bad, he will become bad. It's his choice, and he has to reap what he sows.

Power considerations:
List Three Powers You Would Like Your Character To Have:

He'll be extremely confused at first, but instantly willing to experiment just how far his powers go. Due to his tendency toward the "kill or be killed" mentality that may still linger, he'll lean toward trying to gain more and more power. However, that might not be an entirely good thing for him as he'll have to realize.

Sample:

"Frisk..."

Flowey turned toward the human child. It didn't really matter to him if he wasn't Chara. With the compassion he had before he lost it, he was very thankful that Frisk had helped him. The soulless flower smiled, a kind thing to do, even if it was merely a lie.

"It's good to see you again."

At length, Flowey was quiet for a couple moments. He then smiled again.

"Heh... Looks like you and I aren't in Kansas anymore." Excitement then made itself known on Flowey's face. It was a lie, but not as much as the last two smiles were. He really WAS interested in what this world has to offer. All these 'gems' people called themselves. It was so similar to the underworld in many ways, yet completely different in others. Flowey reasoned that absolutely no one would pass up the opportunity to reside in this world for a time.

"A whole new world... and I have absolutely no idea how it works. I won't get bored one bit."

And then came Flowey giving a somewhat awkward cough. There was still one little problem. How long will he be here? How long will Frisk be here? How many loops would there be? "...F- for a while... We'll see how long it lasts."

Flowey closed his eyes, a sad smile appearing. Would Frisk have to fight Flowey again? Will he go out of control? If they DO fight... will Frisk be able to save him again? The world feels different, almost as if it's suppressing his powers to a point. And if it's suppressing his powers, it should be suppressing everyone else, right?

But enough about that. Flowey opens his eyes with a look of determination. "But as long as it does... I'll be fine living here with you, Frisk."
